Southwire SIMPULL THHN cable with AlumaFlex conductors

Southwire's SIMpull THHN® Wire and Cable with Alumaflex® Brand conductors are primarily used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications as specified in the 2011 National Electrical Code. When used as Type THHN, or T90 Nylon conductor is suitable for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C. When used as Type THWN-2 or TWN75, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C or not to exceed 75°C when exposed to oil or coolant. Voltage for all applications is 600 volts. This cable should be installed without application of pulling lubricant.

Type MC cable with Type XHHW-2 conductors may be used in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C. Voltage rating for XHHW-2 conductors is 600 volts.

Southwire Type SE, service entrance cable

Southwire's Type SE, service entrance cable is used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard; however, it may be used in all applications where Type SE cable is permitted. SE may be used in wet or dry above ground locations at temperatures not to exceed 90° C. The voltage rating is 600 volts.

Southwire Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 conductors

Southwire's Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 conductors are used with conduit as specified in the National Electrical Code. When used as Type USE-2, conductors are suitable for use as underground service entrance conductors for direct burial, at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90°C. When used as RHH, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in dry locations. When used as RHW-2 or USE-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Voltage rating for RHW-2 or RHH or USE-2 conductors is 600 volts.

Southwire’s triplex Type RHH or RHW-2 or USE-2 Alumaflex® Brand conductors is primarily used for secondary distribution and underground service at 600 volts or less, either directly burial or in ducts, where increased flexibility is needed. May also be used in conduit as specified by the NEC.
